Yes, I totally believe this. IT is funny when people say they had a moment when they were broken, or a time when really depended on God. Yes, certain days are harder than others, but I believe it is in those "hard" days that reveal reality. Our brokenness is always present, our poverty is always evident, but it is how we respond to it that changes. We can fill it with friends (i.e. conversation last night after Starbucks), food, reading of books, alchohol, or anything that keeps us doing instead of being. My desire is to be dependent on Jesus during all times, not just the "good" or "bad."
