last night

Led Zeppelin performed at London's O2 arena
(the concert was originally scheduled for November 26th but Jimmy Page broke a finger, he is getting a little old, and needed to let it heal)
anyway the short of the story is that they apparently rocked, unlike many reuniting bands of their age, and did it with three of the four original band members and the deceased fourth, John Bonham, was replaced by his son Jason (on the drums)
the reason for the reunion (hopefully this will last longer than a one time only engagement) was to celebrate the life of the late co-founder of Atlantic Records, Ahmet Ertegun.
I love me some Led Zeppelin, wish I coulda been there in London and hope they're not finished with the "show" just yet

  1. I had a friend that went... spent $13,000 on the tickets. Well, her rich fiance did.
